My name is Lisa Mills and I am your online coach. I am trilingual in spoken English, Australian Sign Language, and British Sign Language. I'm also a qualified and registered school teacher, a deaf actress, and deaf since birth. Now I teach sign language to thousands of students around the world through my book, DVD, online courses, and membership program. 

Lots of deaf people experience poor mental health and frustration due to communication and isolation barriers. We're often excluded or highly challenged to access conversations on a day to day basis! It takes its toll on us. 
But small things like making eye contact with us when we talk, or including simple signs to be deaf-friendly, or signing key words and fingerspelling during chats ... make a huge difference.

This 5-bedroom & 2-bathroom house is Lisa's exclusive AirBNB located in central Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Lisa and her husband are also awarded as as a superhosts on AirBNB. 

There's plenty of space for everyone!  Please note, the house is a 2-storey property and not wheelchair accessible. 

*By car, about 10-minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport.
*On premises parking for 2-cars and on street parking is available.

Workshop Venue, Diddillibah

The workshop on Friday and Saturday, from 9 AM to 3 PM, will be held in Diddillibah on Lisa's acreage. 

Enjoy gorgeous views of the green valley, horses, and trees from the deck. You can even sit with the chickens during break time. 

The workshop will take place on the back deck of her guest house, inside the spacious guest house on new lounge chairs. 

There will be plenty of opportunities to move around, refresh, and avoid getting too restless with this immersive learning experience. 

Students who opt for the accommodation + workshop package will need to drive to Diddillibah for the workshops, just a 10-minute drive from the accomodation venue in Maroochydore. (Alternatively, we can happily arrange an uber for you upon request.)

Workshop / Retreat Investment Options
There are 2 investment options, please choose the one that suits you best by choosing below. Payment will confirm your spot in the retreat.  

1. Retreat Package - With Accomodation is for 3-nights with check-in on Thursday 17th October at 3pm and checkout on Sunday 20th October at 4pm. This is a late checkout so you can enjoy the Sunshine Coast on your final day. This package is limited to 5-persons.  (or possibly 6-persons if requesting to share our twin room with a friend).

Workshop days will be on the Friday and Saturday from 9am to 3pm, leaving the afternoons to relax and explore the popular Sunny Coast.  The house is 8-minutes drive to local beaches and 5-minutes walk to a local hotel / pub for lunch and dinner, 5-minute walk to service station for conveniences and 8-minute walk to public transport.  Also 5minutes drive to the popular Sunshine Coast Plaza for shopping.

2.  Workshop Only Package - Without Accomodation is for 2-days on Friday 18th October and Saturday 19th October from 9am to 3pm. This package is limited to 5-persons.

Important Notes:

1. All fees paid are non-refundable. If for any reason you cannot make the workshop / retreat, your spot can be transferred to another person. You will need to find the replacement for your spot in the retreat. Or you may request to join Lisa on her next workshop / retreat.

2. If for any reason you can't make the workshop / retreat you will still be able to access the online courses after delivery of the retreat. 

3. If for any unforseen reason the workshop / retreat is cancelled you will receive a full refund. However, before cancelling all efforts will be made to find a replacement for Lisa.  It is recommended you purchase travel insurance. 

4. Do not book flights / travel or accomodation until Lisa has confirmed sufficient numbers are booked for this workshop / retreat. Lisa will notify you asap when she has sufficient numbers booked in so you may book your travel & accomodation.
